What is the status of my order?

You can find the latest status of your order by logging into your customer account with your personal email address and password, which you set when placing your order. Or, if you used our guest checkout, you can track your order here. 

I have lost my documents, what can I do?

Get in touch with our customer support team with your order reference number and/or any other information you remember regarding your order, we’ll do our best to locate this for you to help get your star package back with you.

Can I order extra copies of the Certificate?

Yes, we are happy to supply duplicate certificates. We charge £5.00 for each additional certificate required.

I have ordered the Downloadable Gift Set, where are my documents?

Your PDF Star Map and Star Certificate will be avalible for you to download from your Star Order Hisotry here.

Can I change or remove the star I have named?

If you’d like to get in touch with our customer support team, our support team will be happy to discuss this further with you.

What is the difference between Standard, Extra Bright and Binary Stars?

Our Extra Bright Stars have a lower magnitude than our standard stars and as such appear bright in the night sky than our standard stars. Our Binary Stars are in fact two stars in constant orbit of one another.

What is the Star Certificate?

The Star Certificate is your certificate showing all the personalised details of your star package and providing you with your unique star code allowing you to search the Star Listings Catalogue for your star.

What is the memorable date?

The memorable date can be any date you like! A birthday, special event or anniversary, any date that is personal to you that you would like present on your Star Certificate, past or present.

What is a Star Catalouge Number?

All stars are assigned a unique Star Catalouge Number during the processing of their entry to the online Star Listings Catalogue. This code will always be 9 characters long, will only contain numbers, and can be found on your Star Certificate.

I want to register a star for someone, but I want them to name it. Do you offer Gift Packages?

As the certificates for our star gift sets are all personalised for each star, we do need the details for the star in order to add this to the register and send out these documents. We do however have our Name A Star Gift Tin, which can be given to the recipient and contains a unique code that allows them to go online and redeem this to register their Star Name and other personalised details. Once registered their star certificate will be with them shortly for their newly named star.

Will I have a star that’s visible to me?

We offer stars that our visible to locations all over the world. As our system randomly assigns all our star packages, you should receive a star that is visible from your location for a portion of the year.

Will my star ever be renamed?

We guarantee that we will never rename a star that is currently registered within our Star Listings Catalogue.

Do you offer discounts for Corporate/Bulk orders?

Yes! You can see our Corporate ordering page here.

Will I be able to view my star without a telescope?

Due to a range in environmental factors, although there is a chance, we can’t guarantee that any of our stars are visible to you by the naked eye. However, all our stars are visible with the use of a telescope and can be viewed via the online Star Listings Catalogue.

Can I name a specific star?

As our system randomly assigns all stars to their orders, we aren’t able to choose a specific star to be assigned for any orders, but if you do have a specific star you were interested in naming, we do give you the choice of constellation allowing you to choose for your star to be assigned within the same constellation as the star you were thinking of.
