Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. When you purchase, you are assigning a name to a real, specific star that already exists. The star’s exact coordinates will appear on your certificate, making it possible to locate the star in the sky using those coordinates.

You can locate your star using our Star Listings Catalogue Database. It works on both mobile devices and laptops, showing you exactly where your star is in the sky.

All stars are assigned a unique Star Catalogue Number during the processing of their entry to the online Star Listings Catalogue. This code will always be 9 characters long, will only contain numbers, and can be found on your Star Certificate.

Our Extra Bright Stars have a lower magnitude than our standard stars and as such appear bright in the night sky than our standard stars. Our Binary Stars are in fact two stars in constant orbit of one another.
